X. appealed a Zurich administrative court decision concerning a residence permit. The Federal Supreme Court had ordered an advance cost payment of CHF 2,000 and later granted an extension with a warning of non-entry. Because X. still did not pay, the Court decided in simplified proceedings not to enter the appeal and imposed court costs of CHF 500 on him. The decision was communicated to the parties and the Federal Office for Migration.
Art. 62 Abs. 1 in Verbindung mit Art. 108 BGG; non-payment of the ordered advance costs after expiry of the extended deadline entails non-entry in simplified proceedings. Where the appellant fails to comply with a cost advance order despite express warning of inadmissibility, the appeal is not examined on the merits. Court costs are allocated according to the outcome pursuant to Art. 65 and Art. 66 Abs. 1 and 3 BGG.

in Erwägung,
dass der Beschwerdeführer den ihm mit Verfügung vom 13. September 2007 auferlegten Kostenvorschuss von Fr. 2'000.-- auch innerhalb der mit Verfügung vom 21. November 2007 - unter Androhung des Nichteintretens im Säumnisfall - auf den 3. Dezember 2007 angesetzten Nachfrist nicht geleistet hat, weshalb gestützt auf Art. 62 Abs. 1 BGG im vereinfachten Verfahren gemäss Art. 108 BGG auf die Beschwerde nicht einzutreten ist,
dass die Gerichtskosten (Art. 65 BGG) entsprechend dem Verfahrensausgang dem Beschwerdeführer aufzuerlegen sind (Art. 66 Abs. 1 und 3 BGG),
erkennt der Präsident:

Auf die Beschwerde wird nicht eingetreten.
2.
Die Gerichtskosten von Fr. 500.-- werden dem Beschwerdeführer auferlegt.
3.
Dieses Urteil wird dem Beschwerdeführer, dem Migrationsamt, dem Regierungsrat und dem Verwaltungsgericht des Kantons Zürich sowie dem Bundesamt für Migration schriftlich mitgeteilt.
