The appellants withdrew their public law appeal against the Ticino Tax Chamber's judgment of 4 October 2007. The President of the Federal Supreme Court therefore terminated the proceedings and struck the case from the docket. Court costs of CHF 200 were charged jointly and severally to the appellants. No party compensation was awarded to the winning authorities, and the order fixing an advance on costs was annulled.
Art. 32 cpv. 1-2 LTF; withdrawal of the appeal: termination of proceedings and allocation of costs. Upon withdrawal of an appeal, the presiding judge declares the proceedings terminated and strikes the case from the docket. Court costs are, in principle, borne by the appellant, normally with a reduced fee; departure from this rule requires special reasons (Art. 66 cpv. 2 and 5 LTF). No party compensation is awarded to prevailing authorities (Art. 68 cpv. 3 LTF).

ricorso in materia di diritto pubblico contro la sentenza emanata il 4 ottobre 2007 dalla Camera di diritto tributario del Tribunale d'appello del Cantone Ticino.
Visto:
la lettera del 9 novembre 2007 con cui i ricorrenti hanno dichiarato di ritirare il loro ricorso;
considerando:
che, quando il ricorso è ritirato, il Presidente della Corte adita (art. 32 cpv. 1 e 2 LTF) dichiara il processo terminato nonché statuisce sulle spese giudiziarie e sull'assegnazione e l'ammontare delle ripetibili (art. 5 cpv. 2 e 73 cpv. 1 PC combinati con l'art. 71 LTF);
che, in caso di desistenza, le spese giudiziarie devono essere poste, in linea di principio, a carico della parte ricorrente con l'applicazione di una tassa di giustizia ridotta (art. 66 cpv. 2 LTF) e che, nella fattispecie, non v'è motivo per scostarsi da questo principio (cfr. anche art. 66 cpv. 5 LTF);
che non si assegnano ripetibili ad autorità vincenti (art. 68 cpv. 3 LTF);
che, visto quanto precede, il decreto del 9 novembre 2007 con cui è stato fissato un termine ai ricorrenti per fornire un anticipo delle spese giudiziarie è annullato;
per questi motivi, il Presidente decreta:

La causa 2C_626/2007 è stralciata dai ruoli a seguito del ritiro del ricorso.
2.
Le spese giudiziarie di fr. 200.-- sono poste ai carico dei ricorrenti in solido.
3.
Comunicazione al patrocinatore dei ricorrenti, alla Camera di diritto tributario del Tribunale d'appello e alla Divisione delle contribuzioni del Cantone Ticino nonché all'Amministrazione federale delle contribuzioni, Divisione principale imposta federale diretta, imposta preventiva, tasse di bollo (per informazione).

Yes. Once the appeal was withdrawn, the proceedings were terminated and the case was struck off the register.
Under Art. 32 paras. 1-2 LTF, the presiding judge may declare the proceedings terminated upon withdrawal of the appeal.

Court costs were imposed on the appellants jointly and severally in the reduced amount of CHF 200.
