The appellants filed a federal appeal against the Aargau High Court's judgment in a tenancy dispute. Before the Federal Supreme Court decided the case, the parties concluded a settlement on 28 August 2013: the appeal would be withdrawn, the appellants would bear the court costs jointly and severally, and each side would bear its own lawyer's fees. The Court therefore struck the case off the docket, fixed court costs at CHF 500 against the appellants jointly and severally, and declined to award party compensation.
Art. 32 Abs. 2 BGG; withdrawal of the appeal after settlement: where the parties conclude a settlement and the appellant withdraws the appeal, the Federal Supreme Court strikes the proceedings off the docket. Costs are allocated according to the parties' agreement; in the absence of a contrary arrangement, no party compensation is awarded when each side bears its own legal fees (consid. 1).

dass die Parteien am 28. August 2013 einen Vergleich schlossen, wonach die Beschwerde beim Bundesgericht zurückgezogen werde, die Gerichtskosten den Beschwerdeführerinnen unter solidarischer Haftung aufzuerlegen seien und jede Partei die Anwaltskosten für das bundesgerichtliche Verfahren selber trage;
dass das bundesgerichtliche Verfahren damit in Anwendung von Art. 32 Abs. 2 BGG abgeschrieben werden kann;
dass die Gerichtskosten gemäss dem Vergleich den Beschwerdeführerinnen unter solidarischer Haftung aufzuerlegen und keine Parteientschädigungen zuzusprechen sind;
Das Verfahren wird infolge Rückzugs der Beschwerde abgeschrieben.
Die Gerichtskosten von Fr. 500.-- werden den Beschwerdeführerinnen unter solidarischer Haftung auferlegt.
Es werden keine Parteientschädigungen zugesprochen.
Diese Verfügung wird den Parteien und dem Obergericht des Kantons Aargau, Zivilgericht, 4. Kammer, schriftlich mitgeteilt.
