The appellants challenged cantonal decisions and asked for legal aid before the Federal Supreme Court. Their request for free legal aid was refused, and they were ordered to pay an advance on costs of CHF 2,000. They did not pay the advance even after the grace period expired. The court therefore held that the appeal could not be considered and imposed court costs of CHF 500 on the appellants. No party compensation was awarded to the respondent.
Art. 62 Abs. 3 BGG; Art. 108 Abs. 1 lit. a BGG; non-payment of an ordered advance on costs after expiry of the additional deadline results in non-entry into the appeal. If the advance is not paid, the appeal is inadmissible without further examination on the merits. Court costs are imposed on the unsuccessful appellants under Art. 66 Abs. 1 BGG; no party compensation is due where the respondent incurred no compensable expense.

Beschwerde gegen den Entscheid des Bezirksgerichts Baden, Gerichtspräsidium, vom 17. Juni 2013 und den Entscheid des Obergerichts des Kantons Aargau, Zivilgericht, 4. Kammer, vom 3. September 2013.
Die Präsidentin hat in Erwägung,
dass die Beschwerdeführer am 24. Oktober 2013 Beschwerde gegen den Entscheid des Bezirksgerichts Baden, Gerichtspräsidium, vom 17. Juni 2013 und den Entscheid des Obergerichts des Kantons Aargau, Zivilgericht, 4. Kammer, vom 3. September 2013 erhoben und gleichzeitig das Gesuch stellten, es sei ihnen für das bundesgerichtliche Verfahren die unentgeltliche Rechtspflege zu gewähren;
dass das Bundesgericht dieses Gesuch mit Verfügung vom 5. November 2013 abwies und den Beschwerdeführern am 6. November 2013 Frist zur Bezahlung eines Kostenvorschusses von Fr. 2'000.-- ansetzte;
dass die Beschwerdeführer den ihnen auferlegten Kostenvorschuss auch innerhalb der mit Verfügung vom 26. November 2013 angesetzten Nachfrist nicht geleistet haben, weshalb gestützt auf Art. 62 Abs. 3 BGG auf die Beschwerde nicht einzutreten ist;
dass die Kosten des bundesgerichtlichen Verfahrens den Beschwerdeführern aufzuerlegen sind (Art. 66 Abs. 1 BGG);
dass der Beschwerdegegnerin keine Parteientschädigung zuzusprechen ist, da ihr durch das bundesgerichtliche Verfahren kein Aufwand erwachsen ist;
Auf die Beschwerde wird nicht eingetreten.
Die Gerichtskosten von Fr. 500.-- werden den Beschwerdeführern auferlegt.
Dieses Urteil wird den Parteien, dem Bezirksgericht Baden, Gerichtspräsidium, und dem Obergericht des Kantons Aargau, Zivilgericht, 4. Kammer, schriftlich mitgeteilt.
