Die Präsidentin hat in Erwägung,
dass der Beschwerdeführer mit Schreiben vom 2. Februar 2013 beim Bundesgericht gegen den Kostenspruch im Entscheid des Kantonsgerichts Basel-Landschaft vom 19. Dezember 2012 Beschwerde erhob;
dass der Beschwerdeführer mit Präsidialverfügung vom 7. Februar 2013 aufgefordert wurde, spätestens am 22. Februar 2013 einen Kostenvorschuss von Fr. 500.-- einzuzahlen;
dass dem Beschwerdeführer, da der Kostenvorschuss innerhalb der angesetzten Frist nicht eingegangen war, mit neuer Verfügung vom 4. März 2013 eine nicht erstreckbare Nachfrist zur Vorschussleistung bis zum 19. März 2013 angesetzt wurde, unter Hinweis darauf, dass das Bundesgericht bei Säumnis auf das Rechtsmittel nicht eintreten werde (Art. 62 Abs. 3 BGG);
dass der Beschwerdeführer den ihm auferlegten Kostenvorschuss auch innerhalb der angesetzten Nachfrist nicht geleistet hat, weshalb gestützt auf Art. 62 Abs. 3 BGG auf die Beschwerde nicht einzutreten ist;
dass die Gerichtskosten dem Verfahrensausgang entsprechend dem Beschwerdeführer aufzuerlegen sind (Art. 66 Abs. 1 BGG);
dass dem Beschwerdegegner keine Parteientschädigung zuzusprechen ist, da ihm im Zusammenhang mit dem bundesgerichtlichen Verfahren kein Aufwand erwachsen ist (Art. 68 Abs. 1 BGG);
im Verfahren nach Art. 108 Abs. 1 lit. a BGG erkannt:

Auf die Beschwerde wird nicht eingetreten.
2.
Die Gerichtskosten von Fr. 300.-- werden dem Beschwerdeführer auferlegt.

Dieses Urteil wird den Parteien und dem Kantonsgericht Basel-Landschaft, Abteilung Zivilrecht, schriftlich mitgeteilt.
