The appellants withdrew their constitutional complaint against the Bern Appellate Court decision of 8 August 2008. The Federal Supreme Court therefore discontinued the proceedings and ordered the appellants to pay court costs of CHF 300. dass die Gerichtskosten den Beschwerdeführern aufzuerlegen sind (Art. 66 Abs. 3 BGG);
verfügt das präsidierende Mitglied gemäss Art. 32 Abs. 2 BGG:

Das Verfahren wird infolge Rückzugs der Beschwerde abgeschrieben.

Die Gerichtskosten von Fr. 300.-- werden den Beschwerdeführern auferlegt.
3.
Diese Verfügung wird den Parteien und dem Obergericht des Kantons Bern, Appellationshof, 1. Zivilkammer, schriftlich mitgeteilt.
