The appellant challenged a cantonal non-entry decision concerning a cost advance in a civil suspension dispute. The Federal Supreme Court held that an ordinary civil appeal was unavailable because the amount in dispute was insufficient and no legal question of fundamental importance was shown. It construed the submission as a subsidiary constitutional complaint, but found that the appellant did not raise any properly substantiated constitutional grievances. The Court therefore did not enter into the complaint in simplified procedure and exceptionally waived court costs.
Art. 74 BGG, 113 ff., 116, 42 Abs. 2, 106 Abs. 2 and 108 BGG; admissibility of the remedy and substantiation of constitutional complaints. Where the amount in dispute required for an appeal in civil matters is not reached and no question of fundamental importance is shown, the filing is to be treated as a subsidiary constitutional complaint. Such a complaint is admissible only for violations of constitutional rights and must, under the strict duty of reasoning, identify the specific rights invoked and address the contested reasoning in a precise manner. If these requirements are not met, the Federal Supreme Court may decline to enter in simplified procedure under Art. 108 BGG; court costs may exceptionally be waived under Art. 66 Abs. 1 BGG.

In Erwägung,
dass das Bezirksgericht Uster das Gesuch des Beschwerdeführers um Sistierung des Forderungsprozesses gegen die Beschwerdegegnerin mit Verfügung vom 2. Mai 2013 abwies;
dass das Obergericht des Kantons Zürich auf die vom Beschwerdeführer dagegen eingelegte Beschwerde mit Beschluss vom 20. August 2013 mangels Leistung des Kostenvorschusses nicht eintrat;
dass der Beschwerdeführer dem Bundesgericht eine vom 26. September 2013 datierte Eingabe einreichte, aus der sich ergibt, dass er den Beschluss des Obergerichts mit Beschwerde anfechten will;
dass das Bundesgericht von Amtes wegen prüft, ob ein Rechtsmittel zulässig ist (BGE 137 III 417 E. 1; 136 II 101 E. 1, 470 E. 1; 135 III 212 E. 1);
dass gegen den Entscheid des Obergerichts eine Beschwerde in Zivilsachen im vorliegenden Fall nicht zulässig ist, weil der erforderliche Streitwert gemäss Art. 74 Abs. 1 BGG nicht erreicht wird und sich keine Rechtsfrage von grundsätzlicher Bedeutung im Sinne von Art. 74 Abs. 2 lit. a BGG stellt;
dass die Eingabe des Beschwerdeführers unter diesen Umständen als subsidiäre Verfassungsbeschwerde im Sinne von Art. 113 ff. BGG zu behandeln ist;
dass mit der subsidiären Verfassungsbeschwerde die Verletzung von verfassungsmässigen Rechten gerügt werden kann (Art. 116 BGG);
dass in der Beschwerdeschrift dargelegt werden muss, welche verfassungsmässigen Rechte durch das kantonale Gericht verletzt worden sind, und solche Rügen in Auseinandersetzung mit den Erwägungen des angefochtenen Entscheides präzise zu begründen sind (Art. 42 Abs. 2 und Art. 106 Abs. 2 in Verbindung mit Art. 117 BGG; BGE 134 V 138 E. 2.1 S. 143; 133 III 439 E. 3.2 S. 444 mit Hinweis);
dass der Beschwerdeführer keine auch nur im Ansatz substanziierte Verfassungsrüge vorträgt;
dass im vereinfachten Verfahren nach Art. 108 BGG zu entscheiden ist über Nichteintreten auf Beschwerden, die keine hinreichende Begründung enthalten (Abs. 1 lit. b);
dass die Voraussetzungen von Art. 108 BGG vorliegend gegeben sind, weshalb auf die Beschwerde im vereinfachten Verfahren nicht einzutreten ist;
dass ausnahmsweise auf die Erhebung von Gerichtskosten zu verzichten ist (Art. 66 Abs. 1 zweiter Satz BGG);
Auf die Beschwerde wird nicht eingetreten.
Es werden keine Gerichtskosten erhoben.
Dieses Urteil wird den Parteien und dem Obergericht des Kantons Zürich, II. Zivilkammer, schriftlich mitgeteilt.
