The Federal Court held that the appeal did not comply with the statutory reasoning requirements because it failed to address the decisive cantonal grounds and did not properly explain any violation of law or constitutional rights. The appeal was therefore not entered into in simplified procedure. No court costs were levied.

Nach Einsicht
in die Beschwerde gemäss Art. 72 ff. BGG gegen den Entscheid vom 22. Mai 2012 des Obergerichts Appenzell Ausserrhoden, das auf ein Gesuch der Beschwerdeführerin um gerichtliche Beurteilung einer fürsorgerischen Freiheitsentziehung (Art. 397a Abs. 1 ZGB) nicht eingetreten ist,

in Erwägung,
dass das Obergericht erwog, die Beschwerdeführerin habe den erstinstanzlichen Beschluss am 12. April 2012 in Empfang genommen, die 10-tägige Frist zur Einreichung eines Gesuchs um gerichtliche Beurteilung der fürsorgerischen Freiheitsentziehung habe daher am 13. April 2012 zu laufen begonnen und am 23. April 2012 (Montag) geendet, das erst am 18. Mai 2012 der Post übergebene Gesuch der Beschwerdeführerin erweise sich somit als verspätet, weshalb darauf nicht einzutreten sei,
dass die Beschwerde nach Art. 72ff. BGG nebst einem Antrag eine Begründung zu enthalten hat, in welcher in gedrängter Form dargelegt wird, inwiefern der angefochtene Entscheid Recht (Art. 95f. BGG) verletzt (Art. 42 Abs. 1 und 2 BGG), ansonst auf die Beschwerde nicht eingetreten wird (Art. 108 Abs. 1 lit. b BGG),
dass auch Verfassungsrügen in der Beschwerdeschrift vorzubringen und zu begründen sind (Art. 106 Abs. 2 BGG),
dass sich die Beschwerdeführerin in ihrer Eingabe an das Bundesgericht nicht mit den entscheidenden Erwägungen des Obergerichts auseinandersetzt,
dass sie erst recht nicht nach den gesetzlichen Anforderungen anhand dieser Erwägungen aufzeigt, inwiefern der Entscheid des Obergerichts vom 22. Mai 2012 rechts- oder verfassungswidrig sein soll,
dass somit auf die - offensichtlich keine hinreichende Begründung enthaltende - Beschwerde in Anwendung von Art. 108 Abs. 1 lit. b BGG nicht einzutreten ist,
dass keine Gerichtskosten erhoben werden,
dass in den Fällen des Art. 108 Abs. 1 BGG das vereinfachte Verfahren zum Zuge kommt und die Abteilungspräsidentin zuständig ist,

erkennt die Präsidentin:

Auf die Beschwerde wird nicht eingetreten.

2.
Es werden keine Gerichtskosten erhoben.

3.
Dieses Urteil wird der Beschwerdeführerin, dem Obergericht Appenzell Ausserrhoden und den Sozialen Diensten A.________ schriftlich mitgeteilt.
