After the appellant withdrew his constitutional complaint by letter of 2 March 2009, the President of the II Civil Division of the Federal Supreme Court discontinued the proceedings and ordered that no court costs be charged. The decision was issued in writing on 3 March 2009 and notified to the parties and the cantonal administrative court.
Art. 32 Abs. 2 BGG; withdrawal of a constitutional complaint: if the appellant withdraws the appeal, the Federal Supreme Court may, through the competent division president, discontinue the proceedings and strike the case off the roll; costs may be dispensed with in the circumstances. Art. 71 BGG in conjunction with Art. 73 BZP applies by analogy to the procedural form of discontinuance after withdrawal.

März 2009 zurückgezogen hat, die Verfassungsbeschwerde daher durch die Abteilungspräsidentin (Art. 32 Abs. 2 BGG) abzuschreiben (Art. 71 BGG i.V.m. Art. 73 BZP) und von der Erhebung von Gerichtskosten abzusehen ist,
verfügt die Präsidentin:

Das Verfahren wird als durch Rückzug der Verfassungsbeschwerde erledigt abgeschrieben.
2.
Es werden keine Gerichtskosten erhoben.
3.
Diese Verfügung wird den Parteien und dem Verwaltungsgericht des Kantons Solothurn schriftlich mitgeteilt.
