Dem Beschwerdeführer wurden mit Verfügungen vom 10. Dezember 2013 und 17. Januar 2014 eine Frist und die gesetzlich vorgeschriebene Nachfrist bis zum 28. Januar 2014 angesetzt, um dem Bundesgericht einen Kostenvorschuss von Fr. 2'000.-- einzuzahlen, ansonsten auf das Rechtsmittel nicht eingetreten werde. Der Kostenvorschuss ging nicht ein. Auf die Beschwerde ist androhungsgemäss im Verfahren nach Art. 108 BGG nicht einzutreten.
Die Gerichtskosten sind dem Beschwerdeführer aufzuerlegen (Art. 66 Abs. 1 BGG).
Auf die Beschwerde wird nicht eingetreten.
Die Gerichtskosten von Fr. 800.-- werden dem Beschwerdeführer auferlegt.
Dieses Urteil wird den Parteien und dem Obergericht des Kantons Solothurn, Beschwerdekammer, schriftlich mitgeteilt.

The appeal could not be entered into because the ordered advance on costs was not paid despite a warning and deadline extension.
After the appellant was given a deadline and statutory grace period to pay CHF 2,000, with a warning of non-entry, no payment was received. The Court therefore had to refuse to hear the appeal under Art. 108 BGG.

Court costs were imposed on the appellant.
As the unsuccessful party in the non-entry proceeding, the appellant had to bear the costs under Art. 66(1) BGG.
