The Federal Supreme Court did not enter into the criminal complaint against the Thurgau cantonal appellate decision, which had refused to hear an appeal because the declaration of appeal had been filed too late. The appellant invoked personal and business burdens, but he neither substantiated nor documented those assertions sufficiently. The court held that the filing lacked adequate reasoning and therefore was inadmissible under Art. 108 BGG. Court costs of CHF 800 were imposed on the appellant.

Der Einzelrichter zieht in Erwägung:

Die Vorinstanz trat am 27. November 2013 auf eine Berufung nicht ein, weil der Beschwerdeführer die gesetzlich vorgeschriebene Berufungserklärung nicht innert Frist eingereicht hatte. Vor Bundesgericht macht er geltend, er habe die Frist nicht einhalten können, weil er mit der Gründung und der Organisation seiner Firmen belastet war und auch im privaten Bereich zahlreiche Probleme zu bewältigen hatte. Es kann offen bleiben, inwieweit dieses Vorbringen überhaupt stichhaltig sein könnte, denn in der Beschwerde wird die Behauptung nicht weiter ausgeführt und belegt. Da die Eingabe keine hinreichende Begründung enthält, ist darauf im Verfahren nach Art. 108 BGG nicht einzutreten.

Die Gerichtskosten sind dem Beschwerdeführer aufzuerlegen (Art. 66 Abs. 1 BGG).

Demnach erkennt der Einzelrichter:

Auf die Beschwerde wird nicht eingetreten.

2.

Die Gerichtskosten von Fr. 800.-- werden dem Beschwerdeführer auferlegt.

3.

Dieses Urteil wird den Parteien und dem Obergericht des Kantons Thurgau schriftlich mitgeteilt.
