Mere assertion of unlawfulness is insufficient. Where these requirements are not met, summary non-entry under Art. 108 BGG is permissible. Legal aid under Art. 64 BGG is denied if the complaint is devoid of prospects of success; court costs may be reduced in light of the party's financial circumstances under Art. 65(2) BGG and imposed on the unsuccessful complainant under Art. 66(1) BGG.

Der Einzelrichter zieht in Erwägung:

Der Beschwerdeführer reichte gegen die Billag AG Strafanzeige ein wegen unlauteren Wettbewerbs. Am 16. November 2012 nahm die Staatsanwaltschaft des Kantons Freiburg die Sache nicht an die Hand, da aus der Strafanzeige keine strafbare Handlung ersichtlich war. Auf eine dagegen gerichtete Beschwerde trat das Kantonsgericht Freiburg am 28. Dezember 2012 nicht ein. Vor Bundesgericht strebt der Beschwerdeführer sinngemäss eine Anhandnahme seiner Strafanzeige an.
Es kann offen bleiben, ob die Beschwerde, die sich nicht auf die Erwägungen des angefochtenen Entscheids bezieht, den Anforderungen von Art. 42 Abs. 2 BGG genügt. Jedenfalls ergibt sich daraus nicht, dass und inwieweit die Billag AG gegen das Bundesgesetz über den unlauteren Wettbewerb verstossen oder sich sonst strafbar gemacht haben könnte.
Auf die Beschwerde ist im Verfahren nach Art. 108 BGG nicht einzutreten.

Die Gerichtskosten sind dem Beschwerdeführer aufzuerlegen (Art. 66 Abs. 1 BGG). Das Gesuch um unentgeltliche Rechtspflege ist in Anwendung von Art. 64 BGG abzuweisen, weil die Rechtsbegehren aussichtslos erschienen. Der finanziellen Lage des Beschwerdeführers ist bei der Bemessung der Gerichtskosten Rechnung zu tragen (Art. 65 Abs. 2 BGG).
Demnach erkennt der Einzelrichter:

Auf die Beschwerde wird nicht eingetreten.
2.
Das Gesuch um unentgeltliche Rechtspflege wird abgewiesen.
3.
Die Gerichtskosten von Fr. 500.-- werden dem Beschwerdeführer auferlegt.
4.
Dieses Urteil wird den Parteien und dem Kantonsgericht Freiburg, Strafkammer, schriftlich mitgeteilt.
