Art. 42 Abs. 2 und 6, Art. 106 Abs. 2, Art. 109 BGG; criminal complaint before the Federal Supreme Court: admissibility and substantiation requirements. A submission must engage with the reasoning of the challenged decision and set out, in a manner meeting the strict pleading standard, why the decision violates federal law or constitutionally protected rights. Mere criticism, incomprehensible allegations, or abstract assertions of arbitrariness do not suffice. Where the requirements are not met, the court may refrain from entering into the complaint and decide under the simplified procedure of Art. 109 BGG; it may also for reasons of procedural economy dispense with a formal return despite excessive prolixity. Court costs are borne by the unsuccessful party under Art. 66 Abs. 1 BGG.

Das Bundesgericht zieht in Erwägung:

Das Obergericht des Kantons Zürich bestrafte X.________ im Berufungsverfahren mit Urteil vom 25. Juni 2007 wegen Parkierens auf einem Parkverbotsfeld bis zwei Stunden und Nichtmitführens des gültigen Taxitarifes mit einer Busse von Fr. 90.--.
X.________ wendet sich mit staatsrechtlicher Beschwerde ans Bundesgericht und beantragt zur Hauptsache, er sei freizusprechen.

Da der angefochtene Entscheid nach dem 1. Januar 2007 erging, ist die staatsrechtliche Beschwerde als Beschwerde in Strafsachen gemäss Art. 78 ff. BGG entgegenzunehmen (Art. 132 Abs. 1 BGG).

Die Beschwerde besteht aus zwei Teilen und umfasst insgesamt 33 Seiten. Eine Rückweisung wegen übermässiger Weitschweifigkeit gemäss Art. 42 Abs. 6 BGG kann indessen aus prozessökonomischen Gründen unterbleiben.

Die Beschwerde, die teilweise nur schwer verständlich ist, bezieht sich zur Hauptsache nicht auf die Erwägungen im angefochtenen Entscheid und genügt damit den Begründungsanforderungen von Art. 42 Abs. 2 BGG nicht. Darauf ist nicht einzutreten. Im Übrigen kann in Anwendung von Art. 109 Abs. 3 BGG auf die Ausführungen der Vorinstanz verwiesen werden (angefochtener Entscheid S. 6 - 11 mit Hinweisen auf das erstinstanzliche Urteil). Was daran gegen das Recht im Sinne von Art. 95 BGG verstossen könnte, ist nicht ersichtlich. Soweit der Beschwerdeführer Willkür oder andere Verletzungen seiner Grundrechte geltend macht (z.B. Beschwerde 1 S. 7/8), genügen seine Ausführungen den Begründungsanforderungen von Art. 106 Abs. 2 BGG nicht. Die Beschwerde ist im Verfahren nach Art. 109 BGG abzuweisen, soweit darauf einzutreten ist.

Die Gerichtskosten sind dem Beschwerdeführer aufzuerlegen (Art. 66 Abs. 1 BGG).
Demnach erkennt das Bundesgericht:

Die Beschwerde wird abgewiesen, soweit darauf einzutreten ist.
2.
Die Gerichtsgebühr von Fr. 2'000.-- wird dem Beschwerdeführer auferlegt.
3.
Dieses Urteil wird dem Beschwerdeführer, dem Stadtrichteramt Zürich und dem Obergericht des Kantons Zürich, II. Strafkammer, schriftlich mitgeteilt.

The complaint did not sufficiently address the reasoning of the cantonal judgment and therefore failed to satisfy the requirements for substantiation.
The submissions were partly difficult to understand and largely unrelated to the challenged reasoning; allegations of arbitrariness and fundamental-rights violations were not properly substantiated.
Whether the fine and underlying conviction should be overturned
The court saw no apparent violation of federal law in the cantonal judgment and did not disturb the conviction.
To the extent the complaint was admissible, the Federal Supreme Court referred to the lower court's reasoning and found no evident breach of law.
