Where the appellant fails to comply with the advance-cost order despite prior warning, the Federal Supreme Court may decide the matter summarily without examining the merits. Court costs are borne by the unsuccessful party under Art. 66 Abs. 1 BGG.

Dem Beschwerdeführer wurden mit Verfügungen vom 20. August und 11. September 2013 eine Frist und die gesetzlich vorgeschriebene Nachfrist angesetzt, um dem Bundesgericht bis zum 25. September 2013 einen Kostenvorschuss von Fr. 800.-- einzuzahlen, ansonsten auf das Rechtsmittel nicht eingetreten werde. Der Beschwerdeführer hat den Kostenvorschuss nicht geleistet. Folglich ist auf die Beschwerde androhungsgemäss im Verfahren nach Art. 108 BGG nicht einzutreten.
Die Gerichtskosten sind dem Beschwerdeführer aufzuerlegen (Art. 66 Abs. 1 BGG).
Auf die Beschwerde wird nicht eingetreten.
Die Gerichtskosten von Fr. 500.-- werden dem Beschwerdeführer auferlegt.
Dieses Urteil wird den Parteien und dem Kantonsgericht Luzern, 2. Abteilung, schriftlich mitgeteilt.
