X.________ filed a debt-enforcement complaint against a seizure notice. The Basel-Stadt supervisory authority had already refused to enter the cantonal complaint and imposed costs. The Federal Supreme Court held that the federal filing did not comply with Art. 79(1) OG because it did not meaningfully challenge the cantonal decision. It also noted that any attempt to dispute the underlying claim was inadmissible in proceedings against a seizure notice. The court therefore did not enter into the complaint.

Die Kammer hat nach Einsicht
in das Urteil der Aufsichtsbehörde über das Betreibungs- und Konkursamt des Kantons Basel-Stadt vom 20. September 2004, in welchem diese auf die Beschwerde von X.________ gegen eine Pfändungsankündigung nicht eingetreten ist und ihm die Verfahrenskosten auferlegt hat;
in die Beschwerde von X.________ vom 15. Oktober 2004;
in Erwägung,
dass gemäss Art. 79 Abs. 1 OG in der Beschwerdeschrift kurz darzulegen ist, welche Bundesrechtssätze und inwiefern diese durch den angefochtenen Entscheid verletzt worden sind (BGE 119 III 49 E. 1 S. 50);
dass die vorliegende, kaum verständliche Beschwerde, in welcher der Beschwerdeführer mit keinem Wort auf das angefochtene Urteil eingeht, diese Anforderungen nicht erfüllt;
dass der Beschwerdeführer sinngemäss wohl die Begründetheit der in Betreibung gesetzten Forderungen bestreitet, was aber im Rahmen einer Beschwerde gegen die Pfändungsankündigung nicht zulässig ist;
dass damit auf die Beschwerde nicht eingetreten werden kann;
dass das Beschwerdeverfahren grundsätzlich kostenlos ist (Art. 20a Abs. 1 SchKG) und keine Parteientschädigung zugesprochen werden darf (Art. 62 Abs. 2 GebV SchKG);
erkannt:

Auf die Beschwerde wird nicht eingetreten.

Dieses Urteil wird dem Beschwerdeführer, den Beschwerdegegnern, dem Betreibungsamt A.________ und der Aufsichtsbehörde über das Betreibungs- und Konkursamt des Kantons Basel-Stadt schriftlich mitgeteilt.
