Despite a prior warning from the court, his submission and subsequent filing did not contain a proper request or sufficient reasoning explaining any violation of federal law or erroneous fact-finding. The court held that no valid appeal existed and, in simplified proceedings, did not enter into the matter. It also ordered the appellant to pay court costs of CHF 300.

in die Beschwerde vom 25. Februar 2008 (Poststempel) gegen den Entscheid des Versicherungsgerichts des Kantons St. Gallen vom 7. Februar 2008,
in die Mitteilung des Bundesgerichts an B.________ vom 26. Februar 2008, wonach seine Beschwerde die gesetzlichen Formerfordernisse hinsichtlich Antrag und Begründung nicht zu erfüllen scheint und eine Verbesserung nur innert der Beschwerdefrist möglich ist,
in die daraufhin von B.________ dem Bundesgericht am 5. März 2008 zugesandte Eingabe,

in Erwägung,

dass ein Rechtsmittel gemäss Art. 42 Abs. 1 BGG unter anderem die Begehren und deren Begründung mit Angabe der Beweismittel enthalten muss, wobei im Rahmen der Begründung in gedrängter Form darzulegen ist, inwiefern der angefochtene Entscheid Recht verletzt (Art. 42 Abs. 2 BGG); die Vorbringen müssen sachbezogen sein, damit aus der Beschwerdeschrift ersichtlich ist, in welchen Punkten und weshalb der angefochtene Entscheid beanstandet wird (vgl. BGE 131 II 449 E. 1.3 S. 452, 123 V 335 E. 1 S. 337 f. mit weiteren Hinweisen),
dass die Beschwerde vom 25. Februar 2008 wie auch die Eingabe des Versicherten vom 5. März 2008 den vorerwähnten Mindestanforderungen - trotz der Hinweise des Bundesgerichts in der Mitteilung vom 26. Februar 2008 - nicht genügen, da sie keinen rechtsgenüglichen Antrag enthalten und den Ausführungen nicht entnommen werden kann, inwiefern die Sachverhaltsfeststellung im Sinne von Art. 97 Abs. 1 BGG - soweit überhaupt beanstandet - unzutreffend und die darauf beruhenden Erwägungen rechtsfehlerhaft sein sollen,
dass mithin kein gültiges Rechtsmittel vorliegt,
dass deshalb im vereinfachten Verfahren nach Art. 108 Abs. 1 lit. b BGG auf die Beschwerde nicht einzutreten ist und der Beschwerdeführer nach Art. 66 Abs. 1 und 3 BGG kostenpflichtig wird,

erkennt der Präsident:

Auf die Beschwerde wird nicht eingetreten.

2.
Die Gerichtskosten von Fr. 300.- werden dem Beschwerdeführer auferlegt.

3.
Dieses Urteil wird den Parteien, dem Versicherungsgericht des Kantons St. Gallen, der Kantonale Arbeitslosenkasse St. Gallen und dem Staatssekretariat für Wirtschaft schriftlich mitgeteilt.
