The Court held that the appeal did not satisfy the mandatory reasoning requirements under the Federal Supreme Court Act. It therefore declined to enter into the appeal in simplified proceedings. Because no court costs were imposed, the request for free legal aid became moot.

Where the complaint concerns cantonal law or fundamental rights, the alleged violations must be expressly invoked and substantiated in light of the lower-court reasoning. A filing that fails to do so is manifestly insufficiently reasoned and results in non-entry in summary proceedings. If no court costs are levied, a request for free legal aid is moot (consid. 1).

Nach Einsicht
in die Beschwerde vom 10. März 2008 (Poststempel) gegen den Entscheid des Verwaltungsgerichts des Kantons Glarus vom 30. Januar 2008 und das sinngemässe Gesuch um unentgeltliche Rechtspflege,
in Erwägung,
dass ein Rechtsmittel gemäss Art. 42 Abs. 1 BGG unter anderem die Begehren und deren Begründung mit Angabe der Beweismittel enthalten muss, wobei im Rahmen der Begründung in gedrängter Form darzulegen ist, inwiefern der angefochtene Entscheid Recht verletzt (Art. 42 Abs. 2 BGG); die Vorbringen müssen sachbezogen sein, damit aus der Beschwerdeschrift ersichtlich ist, in welchen Punkten und weshalb der angefochtene Entscheid beanstandet wird (vgl. BGE 131 II 449 E. 1.3 S. 452, 123 V 335 E. 1 S. 337 f. mit weiteren Hinweisen),
dass mit andern Worten in der Beschwerdeschrift (entsprechend den altrechtlichen Begründungsanforderungen des Art. 55 Abs. 1 lit. c OG sowie des Art. 273 Abs. 1 BStP und des Art. 90 Abs. 1 OG: Botschaft vom 28. Februar 2001 zur Totalrevision der Bundesrechtspflege, BBl 2001 S. 4207 ff., Ziff. 4.1.2.4 zu Art. 39 Entwurf, S. 4294) auf die Erwägungen des angefochtenen Entscheids einzugehen und im Einzelnen aufzuzeigen ist, welche Vorschriften (Botschaft, a.a.O. Ziff. 2.2.4, S. 4232) und weshalb sie von der Vorinstanz verletzt worden sind (BGE 116 II 745 E. 3 S. 749),
dass insbesondere bei der Anfechtung von Entscheiden, die sich - wie vorliegend - auf kantonales Recht stützen bzw. in denen allenfalls eine Verletzung von Grundrechten in Frage steht, die entsprechenden Rügen in der Beschwerdeschrift vorzubringen und zu begründen sind (Art. 95 und 106 Abs. 2 BGG), dass mit andern Worten in der Beschwerdeschrift (entsprechend den altrechtlichen Begründungsanforderungen des Art. 90 Abs. 1 lit. b OG: Botschaft, a.a.O. Ziff. 4.1.2.4 zu Art. 39 Entwurf, S. 4294) klar und detailliert anhand der Erwägungen des angefochtenen Entscheids darzulegen ist, welche kantonalen und verfassungsmässigen Rechte und inwiefern sie durch den kantonalen Entscheid verletzt sind (BGE 130 I 258 E. 1.3 S. 261 f.; vgl. auch BGE 133 IV 286 E. 1.4 S. 287 f.),
dass die Beschwerde vom 10. März 2008 den vorgenannten Anforderungen offensichtlich nicht genügt, indem in keiner Weise nach den erwähnten gesetzlichen Erfordernissen anhand der Erwägungen des angefochtenen Entscheids aufgezeigt wird, inwiefern das Urteil der Vorinstanz kantonale bzw. verfassungsmässige Rechte verletzen sollte,
dass mithin kein gültiges Rechtsmittel vorliegt,
dass von der Erhebung von Gerichtskosten abgesehen wird, weshalb sich das sinngemässe Begehren um Gewährung der unentgeltlichen Rechtspflege als gegenstandslos erweist,
dass deshalb im vereinfachten Verfahren nach Art. 108 Abs. 1 lit. b BGG auf die Beschwerde nicht einzutreten ist und in Anwendung von Art. 66 Abs. 1 Satz 2 BGG auf die Erhebung von Gerichtskosten verzichtet wird,
erkennt der Präsident:

Auf die Beschwerde wird nicht eingetreten.
2.
Es werden keine Gerichtskosten erhoben.
3.
Dieses Urteil wird den Parteien und dem Verwaltungsgericht des Kantons Glarus schriftlich mitgeteilt.
