il decreto del 27 settembre 2012, con il quale questa Corte ha assegnato a L.________ un termine suppletorio, scadente l'8 ottobre 2012 per versare un anticipo spese, avvertendola che in caso di mancato pagamento il ricorso sarebbe stato dichiarato inammissibile,

considerando:
che la ricorrente non ha versato l'anticipo spese nel termine suppletorio impartitole,
che priva di rilievo è la questione di sapere se l'interessata abbia o meno aperto la busta dell'atto giudiziario inviatole ritornandola a questa Corte,
che, statuendo secondo la procedura semplificata di cui all'art. 108 cpv. 1 lett. a LTF, il ricorso dev'essere di conseguenza dichiarato irricevibile conformemente a quanto previsto dall'art. 62 cpv. 3 LTF,
che in applicazione dell'art. 66 cpv. 1 seconda frase LTF, non si prelevano spese giudiziarie,

per questi motivi, il Presidente pronuncia:

Il ricorso è inammissibile.

2.
Non si prelevano spese giudiziarie.

3.
Comunicazione alle parti, al Tribunale delle assicurazioni del Cantone Ticino e alla Segreteria di Stato dell'economia (SECO).
