The appellant withdrew her appeal against the Vaud cantonal social insurance judgment. The Federal Supreme Court therefore removed the case from the docket and, considering the circumstances, ordered that no judicial costs be charged. The order was issued by a single judge of the Second Social Law Division and communicated to the parties, the cantonal court, and the Federal Office for Social Insurance.
Art. 32 al. 2 et 71 LTF; art. 73 al. 1 PCF: withdrawal of the appeal entails removal of the case from the docket. Art. 66 al. 2 LTF: the Federal Supreme Court may, in view of the circumstances, refrain from charging judicial costs. Upon valid withdrawal, the proceedings are terminated without a merits ruling; the court retains only the ancillary power to regulate costs under the LTF.
