In a disability insurance appeal, the Federal Court held that the complaint failed to satisfy the minimum reasoning requirements because it did not contain a proper request and did not explain why the cantonal findings on medical evidence and income comparison were allegedly incorrect. The later submission was likewise insufficient and, in any event, late. The court therefore issued a non-entry decision in simplified procedure and waived court costs.
Art. 42 Abs. 1 and 2 BGG; Art. 97 Abs. 1 BGG; Art. 100 Abs. 1 BGG; Art. 108 Abs. 1 lit. b BGG; admissibility of the appeal depends on a proper prayer for relief and sufficiently substantiated grounds. The appellant must, in a concise manner, indicate which findings or legal considerations are challenged and on what grounds; a mere reference to the file or an unparticularized disagreement is insufficient. In social insurance matters, the complaint must also engage with the decisive medical findings and the income-comparison reasoning. A belated supplementary submission cannot remedy these defects and is ineffective if out of time. Where these requirements are not met, non-entry follows in simplified procedure; court costs may be waived exceptionally under Art. 66 Abs. 1 BGG.

Nach Einsicht
in die Beschwerde vom 11. Oktober 2012 gegen den Entscheid des Verwaltungsgerichts des Kantons Schwyz vom 14. August 2012,
in Erwägung,
dass ein Rechtsmittel gemäss Art. 42 Abs. 1 und 2 BGG unter anderem die Begehren und deren Begründung enthalten muss, wobei in der Begründung in gedrängter Form darzulegen ist, inwiefern der angefochtene Akt Recht verletzt,
dass aus der Begründung mithin ersichtlich sein muss, in welchen Punkten und weshalb der angefochtene Entscheid beanstandet wird (BGE 134 II 244 E. 2.1 S. 245; 131 II 449 E. 1.3 S. 452),
dass die Beschwerdeschrift vom 11. Oktober 2012 diesen inhaltlichen Mindestanforderungen nicht genügt, da sie keinen rechtsgenüglichen Antrag enthält und den Ausführungen auch nicht entnommen werden kann, inwiefern die einlässlich begründeten vorinstanzlichen Feststellungen über den medizinischen Sachverhalt im Sinne von Art. 97 Abs. 1 BGG qualifiziert unzutreffend und die darauf beruhenden Erwägungen rechtsfehlerhaft sein sollen,
dass sich der Beschwerdeführer nicht mit den Darlegungen des kantonalen Gerichts zur Ermittlung der für den Einkommensvergleich nach Art. 16 ATSG heranzuziehenden Vergleichseinkommen auseinandersetzt,
dass das Gesagte auch für die am 25. Oktober 2012 nachgereichte Eingabe gilt, wobei diese nach Art. 100 Abs. 1 BGG zudem verspätet ist (Fristablauf am 12. Oktober 2012),
dass deshalb im vereinfachten Verfahren nach Art. 108 Abs. 1 lit. b BGG auf die Beschwerde nicht einzutreten ist,
dass auf die Erhebung von Gerichtskosten umständehalber verzichtet wird (Art. 66 Abs. 1 zweiter Satz BGG),
erkennt der Präsident:

Auf die Beschwerde wird nicht eingetreten.
2.
Es werden keine Gerichtskosten erhoben.
3.
Dieses Urteil wird den Parteien, dem Verwaltungsgericht des Kantons Schwyz und dem Bundesamt für Sozialversicherungen schriftlich mitgeteilt.
