CC 228 para. 1; child support advances may not be discontinued merely because the child's legal representative has changed or because the maintenance contribution was originally assessed on the basis of the deceased mother's income. The decisive factor is the child's continuing entitlement to maintenance advances; a change in the person administering the claim does not extinguish the child's substantive right. The authority must therefore continue payments so long as the statutory conditions for advances are otherwise met.
