In an occupational pension case before the Ticino cantonal insurance court, the claimant died after filing the petition. The heirs notified the court that they withdrew the action and did not wish to continue the proceedings. Vice-president Raffaele Guffi held that the case had become moot and ordered it struck from the docket. The court also ordered that no fees or costs be levied and that notice be given to the parties.
