The Tribunal della pianificazione del territorio dealt with an appeal against a State Council resolution approving variants of a municipal zoning plan. Before any merits review, the appellant’s representative withdrew the appeal by letter of 16 January 2001. The court held that the case had become moot and ordered the appeal struck from the docket.
