The Second Senate of the Federal Constitutional Court dismissed two election complaints. It stated that the complaints had no prospect of success for the reasons given in the rapporteur’s letter of 23 February 2016 and, pursuant to § 24 sentence 2 BVerfGG, refrained from further reasoning.
§ 24 S. 2 BVerfGG; Wahlprüfungsbeschwerde kann ohne weitere Begründung verworfen werden, wenn sie aus den bereits mitgeteilten Gründen keinen Erfolg hat. Das Gericht kann sich in solchen Fällen auf einen Hinweis auf die früher mitgeteilten Ablehnungsgründe beschränken und von einer ausführlichen Begründung absehen.
