2.
The court adjudged appellant, Michael R., a ward of the court (Welf. & Inst. Code,
§ 602) after it sustained allegations charging Michael with the continuous sexual abuse of
a child under 14 years of age (Pen. Code, § 288.5). On August 8, 2005, the court
committed appellant to the Department of Corrections and Rehabilitation, Juvenile
Justice for a maximum term of confinement of 12 years.
Michael’s appellate counsel has filed a brief which summarizes the facts, with
citations to the record, raises no issues, and asks this court to independently review the
record. (People v. Wende (1979) 25 Cal.3d 436.) Michael has not responded to this
court’s invitation to submit additional briefing.
Following independent review of the record we find that no reasonably arguable
factual or legal issues exist.
The judgment is affirmed.
