IN THE U NITED STATES DISTRICT COURT
FOR THE MIDDLE DISTRICT OF GEORGIA
VALDOSTA DIVISION
U NITED STATES OF AMERICA,
v . CASE NO :

multiple criminal trials during a term of Court and thus finds that the period of delay in
continuing the trial through the conclusion of the next Valdosta trial term is excludable
under tl1e Speedy Trial Act .
B ased on tl1e D efendant's stated reasons, the Court finds tl1at the ends of justice served
by granting a continuance outweigh tl1e best interests of the public and the D efendant in a
speedy trial. 18 U .S.C. § 316101)(7)(A)- (B). TI1erefore, the Motion (Doc. 32) is GRANTED.
