COURT OF APPEALS
EIGHTH DISTRICT OF TEXAS
EL PASO, TEXAS
————————————
No. 08-26-00341-CV
————————————
Jerliz, LLC, Appellant
v.
Roberto Cardona, Appellee
On Appeal from the 41st District Court
El Paso County, Texas
Trial Court No. 2025-DCV-5216
O R DE R
The record for this appeal was due on October 11, 2026. The clerk’s record was timely filed
on October 9, 2026. On October 20, 2026, the court reporter responsible for preparing the
reporter’s record filed a notice stating that no designation or arrangements for payment have been
2
made. The reporter’s notice also states that she reviewed the case file and no hearings were
recorded in the court below.
Appellant’s docketing statement indicates that this is an appeal from a default judgment
and that no hearing record was requested. Because no reporter’s record will be filed, the appellate
record was completed upon the filing of the clerk’s record on October 9, 2026. Tex. R. App. P. 34.1
(“The appellate record consists of the clerk’s record and, if necessary to the appeal, the reporter’s
record.”). In accordance with Rule 38.6(a), we ORDER Appellant’s brief due November 9, 2026.
Tex. R. App. P. 38.6(a) (providing that an appellant’s brief is due 30 days after the complete record
is filed).
IT IS SO ORDERED this 21st day of October 2026.
