LA COMMISSION DES COMMUNAUTÉS EUROPÉENNES,
vu le traité instituant la Communauté européenne,
vu le règlement (CE) n o 1234/2007 du Conseil du 22 octobre 2007 portant organisation commune des marchés dans le secteur agricole et dispositions spécifiques en ce qui concerne certains produits de ce secteur (règlement OCM unique) 1 , et notamment ses articles 192, paragraphe 2, et 195, paragraphe 2, en liaison avec son article 4,
considérant ce qui suit:
(1) Le règlement (CE) n o 1295/2008 de la Commission 2 établit dans son annexe I la liste des organismes des pays tiers habilités à émettre les attestations accompagnant les produits du houblon importés en provenance de ces pays. Lesdites attestations sont reconnues comme équivalentes au certificat prévu à l'article 117 du règlement (CE) n o 1234/2007.
(2) Il incombe aux services concernés des pays tiers de tenir à jour les données figurant à l'annexe I du règlement (CE) n o 1295/2008 et de les communiquer aux services de la Commission, dans un esprit de coopération étroite.
(3) La Croatie et la Serbie se sont engagées à respecter les exigences prescrites pour la commercialisation du houblon et des produits du houblon et ont habilité un service à émettre des attestations d'équivalence. Il convient, dès lors, de reconnaître ces attestations comme équivalentes aux certificats communautaires et d'admettre en libre pratique les produits qu'elles couvrent.
(4) Le règlement (CE) n o 1295/2008 doit être modifié en conséquence.
(5) Les mesures prévues au présent règlement sont conformes à l'avis du comité de gestion de l'organisation commune des marchés agricoles,
A ARRÊTÉ LE PRÉSENT RÈGLEMENT:
L’annexe I du règlement (CE) n o 1295/2008 est remplacée par le texte figurant à l'annexe du présent règlement.
Le présent règlement entre en vigueur le troisième jour suivant celui de sa publication au Journal officiel de l'Union européenne .
