Before the Federal Supreme Court could decide on the merits, he withdrew the criminal appeal by letter of 2 June 2008. The President of the First Public Law Division therefore removed the case from the docket as withdrawn and, considering the circumstances, ordered that no costs be charged. The order was communicated to the appellant, the Thurgau investigating authority, and the detention judge.
Art. 78 ff. BGG; withdrawal of a criminal appeal before the Federal Supreme Court: where the appellant withdraws the appeal, the proceedings are to be struck off without a merits decision. dass es sich unter den gegebenen Umständen rechtfertigt, für das vorliegende Verfahren keine Kosten zu erheben;
verfügt der Präsident:

Die Beschwerde im Verfahren 1B_136/2008 wird als durch Rückzug erledigt abgeschrieben.

Es werden keine Kosten erhoben.

Diese Verfügung wird dem Beschwerdeführer, dem Kantonalen Untersuchungsrichteramt Thurgau sowie dem Haftrichter der Anklagekammer des Kantons Thurgau schriftlich mitgeteilt.
