The Federal Supreme Court struck the appeal out of the register because the appellant had been released from deportation detention before the decision, which extinguished the live controversy and the current interest in review. The court saw no reason to nevertheless examine the merits, including the complaint about appointment of counsel. It also waived court costs. The order was communicated to the appellant, the Aargau migration authority, the cantonal administrative court, and the Federal Office for Migration.
Art. 32 Abs. 1 and 2 BGG; mootness of an appeal after cessation of deportation detention: if the contested detention ends before the Federal Supreme Court decides, the requisite current interest in review falls away and the proceedings are to be struck out by the instructing judge or chamber president, unless exceptional reasons justify a merits determination. In the context of foreigner detention, the Court may decline to address ancillary complaints, such as requests concerning legal assistance, once the detention has ceased (consid. 1). Costs may be waived under Art. 66 Abs. 1 sentence 2 BGG where equity so requires.

Nach Einsicht
in die Eingabe von X.________ vom 13. Dezember 2013, die das Urteil des Verwaltungsgerichts des Kantons Aargau vom 3. Dezember 2013 betreffend Ausschaffungshaft zum Gegenstand hat und als Beschwerde gegen besagtes Urteil entgegengenommen worden ist,
in die Fax-Mitteilung des Amtes für Migration und Integration des Kantons Aargau vom 17. Dezember 2013, wonach der Beschwerdeführer am 13. Dezember 2013 aus der Ausschaffungshaft entlassen worden ist,
in Erwägung,
dass die Gegenstand der vorliegenden Beschwerde bildende Ausschaffungshaft durch die Haftentlassung beendet worden und damit der Gegenstand der Beschwerde bzw. das aktuelle Interesse an der Beurteilung der Beschwerde dahingefallen ist,
dass keine Gründe ersichtlich sind, die Beschwerde dennoch materiell zu behandeln (vgl. dazu BGE 137 I 296 E. 4 und 5), namentlich im hier allein interessierenden Kontext einer ausländerrechtlichen Haft keine Notwendigkeit besteht, die Vorbringen des Beschwerdeführers bezüglich die Bestellung eines Anwalts zu prüfen,
dass mithin das Verfahren durch Entscheid des Instruktionsrichters bzw. des Abteilungspräsidenten abzuschreiben ist (Art. 32 Abs. 1 und 2 BGG),
dass es sich rechtfertigt, auf die Erhebung von Kosten zu verzichten (Art. 66 Abs. 1 Satz 2 BGG),
Das Verfahren wird abgeschrieben.
Es werden keine Kosten erhoben.
Diese Verfügung wird dem Beschwerdeführer, dem Amt für Migration und Integration des Kantons Aargau, dem Verwaltungsgericht des Kantons Aargau, 2. Kammer, und dem Bundesamt für Migration schriftlich mitgeteilt.
