The Federal Supreme Court discontinued the tax appeal after the appellant’s representative withdrew it. The president ordered the case struck off the docket under the summary procedure. Court costs of CHF 200 were charged to the appellant, who had withdrawn the appeal without reservation, and no party compensation was granted. The order was notified to the appellant, the Solothurn tax office, the cantonal tax court, and the Federal Tax Administration.
Art. 32 Abs. 2 BGG; withdrawal of the appeal and discontinuance of the proceedings; a withdrawn appeal may be removed from the docket by order of the instruction judge or the division president. In such a case, the costs of the federal proceedings are to be borne by the withdrawing appellant under Art. 66 Abs. 1 and 3 BGG; absent special circumstances, no party compensation is due under Art. 68 Abs. 1 and 2 BGG. The procedural closing order also determines court costs pursuant to Art. 65 BGG and may be issued in written summary form (Art. 5 Abs. 2 BZP in conjunction with Art. 71 BGG).

in Erwägung,
dass das Verfahren gestützt auf Art. 32 Abs. 2 BGG mit Verfügung des Instruktionsrichters bzw. des Abteilungspräsidenten (vgl. Art. 32 Abs. 1 BGG) abgeschrieben werden kann, wobei über die Gerichtskosten zu entscheiden und die Höhe einer (allfälligen) Parteientschädigung zu bestimmen ist (Art. 5 Abs. 2 BZP im Verbindung mit Art. 71 BGG),
dass die Kosten des bundesgerichtlichen Verfahrens (Art. 65 BGG) dem Beschwerdeführer, der die Beschwerde vorbehaltlos zurückgezogen hat, aufzuerlegen sind (Art. 66 Abs. 1und 3 BGG) und er keinen Anspruch auf Parteientschädigung hat (Art. 68 Abs. 1 und 2 BGG),
verfügt der Präsident:

Das Verfahren wird infolge Rückzugs der Beschwerde abgeschrieben.
2.
Die Gerichtskosten von Fr. 200.-- werden dem Beschwerdeführer auferlegt.
3.
Diese Verfügung wird dem Beschwerdeführer, dem Steueramt und dem Steuergericht des Kantons Solothurn sowie der Eidgenössischen Steuerverwaltung schriftlich mitgeteilt.
