The appellant withdrew his appeal against the Aargau Higher Court judgment of 22 February 2012. The Federal Supreme Court therefore discontinued the proceedings under Article 32(2) BGG. It ordered the reduced court costs of CHF 1,000 against the appellant under Article 66(2) and (3) BGG. The order was communicated to the parties and to the cantonal court.

Das Verfahren wird infolge Rückzugs der Beschwerde abgeschrieben.

Die Gerichtskosten von Fr. 1'000.-- werden dem Beschwerdeführer auferlegt.
