The appellant challenged a cantonal appellate judgment in an eviction matter before the Federal Tribunal. After being ordered to pay a CHF 300 cost advance and then granted an additional deadline, she still failed to pay within the time limits. The Federal Tribunal therefore held the appeal inadmissible for non-payment of the advance of costs. It also ordered the appellant to bear the federal judicial costs of CHF 300.
Art. 62 al. 3 LTF, art. 108 al. 1 let. a LTF; failure to pay the requested advance of costs within the fixed or extended time limit leads to non-entry into the appeal proceedings. Where the appellant does not comply despite being granted an additional deadline, the appeal is inadmissible in summary procedure. Judicial costs are borne by the unsuccessful party pursuant to art. 66 al. 1 and 3 LTF.

Vu le recours interjeté le 25 juin 2012 par X.________ contre l'arrêt du Tribunal cantonal du canton de Vaud, Cour d'appel civile, du 6 juin 2012 dans la cause précitée.
Vu l'ordonnance du 5 juillet 2012 invitant la recourante à verser jusqu'au 21 août 2012 une avance de frais de 300 fr. et l'ordonnance du 24 août 2012 fixant en application de l'art. 62 al. 3 LTF un délai supplémentaire jusqu'au 10 septembre 2012.
Que l'avance de frais requise n'a pas été effectuée dans les délais impartis.
Que le recours est dès lors irrecevable faute d'avance de frais (art. 62 al. 3 LTF).
Que les frais judiciaires sont à mettre à la charge de la recourante (art. 66 al. 1 et 3 LTF).
par ces motifs, vu l'art. 108 al. 1 let. a LTF, la Présidente prononce:

Le recours est irrecevable.

Les frais judiciaires, arrêtés à 300 fr., sont mis à la charge de la recourante.

Le présent arrêt est communiqué aux parties et au Tribunal cantonal du canton de Vaud, Cour d'appel civile.
