B.X.________ SA filed an appeal to the Federal Supreme Court against a Geneva tenancy judgment, then withdrew it by letter of 28 November 2013. The First Civil Law Court took note of the withdrawal, struck the case from the docket, and ordered the appellant to pay reduced court costs of CHF 500 and reduced party compensation of CHF 200 to the respondent. The order was issued in written proceedings by the presiding federal judge.
Art. 32 al. 2 LTF; withdrawal of the appeal and striking the case from the docket; upon valid withdrawal of the appeal, the Federal Supreme Court notes the withdrawal and removes the case from the docket. The appellant bears the reduced judicial costs and, as a rule, owes the opposing party reduced party compensation under Arts. 66 and 68 LTF and the applicable tariff provision.

qu'il y a lieu de prendre acte du retrait du recours et de rayer la cause du rôle (art. 32 al. 2 LTF);
que la recourante supporte les frais judiciaires réduits et verse à l'intimé une indemnité à titre de dépens réduits (art. 66 al. 2 et 3, art. 68 al. 4 LTF; art. 8 al. 3 du Règlement sur les dépens alloués à la partie adverse [RS 173.110.210.3]);
La cause est rayée du rôle par suite de retrait du recours.
Les frais judiciaires, arrêtés à 500 fr., sont mis à la charge de la recourante.
La recourante versera à l'intimé une indemnité de 200 fr. à titre de dépens.
La présente ordonnance est communiquée aux parties et à la Cour de justice du canton de Genève, Chambre des baux et loyers.

The appellant had to bear reduced judicial costs and pay the respondent reduced costs compensation.
Because the appeal was withdrawn, the appellant was charged with the reduced judicial costs and ordered to compensate the respondent with reduced party costs under Arts. 66 and 68 BGG and Art. 8(3) of the costs regulation.
