The Federal Supreme Court did not enter on the appeal filed by X.________ in liquidation against the cantonal judgment because the submission attacked the district court proceedings and failed to meet the reasoning requirements for an appeal to the Federal Supreme Court. The request for legal aid was denied as hopeless, and court costs of CHF 500 were charged to the appellant.

An appeal must address the reasoning of the challenged cantonal decision and, with reference to that reasoning, show which rights were violated. Criticism of the first-instance proceedings is inadmissible where the cantonal judgment alone is under review. Alleged violations of constitutional rights are examined only if expressly invoked and substantiated. A manifestly insufficiently reasoned appeal is not entered on in summary procedure. Legal aid is refused if the appeal appears hopeless; in that event, costs are generally borne by the unsuccessful appellant (Art. 64 and 66 BGG).

In Erwägung,
dass das Bezirksgericht Leuk und Westlich-Raron mit Entscheid vom 26. September 2012 auf die Aberkennungsklage der Beschwerdeführerin nicht eintrat, weil diese den von ihr verlangten Kostenvorschuss nicht bezahlt hatte;
dass die Beschwerdeführerin diesen Entscheid am 26. Oktober 2012 mit Berufung beim Kantonsgericht Wallis anfocht;
dass das Kantonsgericht mit Urteil vom 15. November 2012 aus formellen Gründen auf die Berufung nicht eintrat;
dass die Beschwerdeführerin dem Bundesgericht eine vom 14. Dezember 2012 datierte Eingabe einreichte, in der sie erklärte, das Urteil des Kantonsgerichts anzufechten;
dass von vornherein auf die Beschwerde nicht einzutreten ist, soweit die Beschwerdeführerin in ihrer Rechtsschrift das Verfahren vor dem Bezirksgericht kritisiert (Art. 75 Abs. 1 BGG);
dass in einer Beschwerde an das Bundesgericht unter Bezugnahme auf die Erwägungen des angefochtenen Entscheides dargelegt werden muss, welche Rechte der beschwerdeführenden Partei durch das kantonale Gericht verletzt worden sind (Art. 42 Abs. 1 und 2 BGG), wobei eine allfällige Verletzung der bundesrechtlichen Verfassungsrechte vom Bundesgericht nicht von Amtes wegen geprüft wird, sondern nur dann, wenn solche Rügen in der Beschwerdeschrift ausdrücklich erhoben und begründet werden (Art. 106 Abs. 2 BGG);
dass die Eingabe der Beschwerdeführerin vom 14. Dezember 2012 diesen Begründungsanforderungen offensichtlich nicht genügt, soweit sie sich zum Entscheid des Kantonsgerichts äussert;
dass aus diesen Gründen auf die Beschwerde im Verfahren nach Art.108 Abs. 1 lit. a und b BGG nicht einzutreten ist;
dass das sinngemäss gestellte Gesuch um Gewährung der unentgeltlichen Rechtspflege, über das unter den gegebenen Umständen nicht vorgängig separat entschieden werden musste (vgl. Urteil 4A_20/2011 vom 11. April 2011 E. 7.2.2), wegen Aussichtslosigkeit der Beschwerde abzuweisen ist (Art. 64 Abs. 1 BGG);
dass die Gerichtskosten der Beschwerdeführerin aufzuerlegen sind (Art. 66 Abs. 1 BGG);
erkennt die Präsidentin:

Auf die Beschwerde wird nicht eingetreten.
2.
Das Gesuch um Gewährung der unentgeltlichen Rechtspflege wird abgewiesen.
3.
Die Gerichtskosten von Fr. 500.-- werden der Beschwerdeführerin auferlegt.

Dieses Urteil wird den Parteien und dem Kantonsgericht des Kantons Wallis, I. zivilrechtliche Abteilung, schriftlich mitgeteilt.
