X. Holding AG challenged an Obergericht of Zug judgment ordering it to pay CHF 8,772.90 plus interest to Y. AG. The Federal Supreme Court held that an ordinary civil appeal was unavailable because the dispute value was below CHF 30,000 and no issue of fundamental importance existed. It therefore treated the filing as a subsidiary constitutional complaint, but found that the appellant did not identify or substantiate any violation of constitutional rights. The court accordingly did not enter into the complaint, imposed CHF 300 in court costs on the appellant, and denied the respondent compensation for its unsolicited response.

In Erwägung,
dass das Kantonsgericht des Kantons Zug die Beschwerdeführerin mit Urteil vom 29. Oktober 2009 zur Zahlung von Fr. 8'772.90 nebst Zins an die Beschwerdegegnerin verpflichtete;
dass die Beschwerdeführerin dieses Urteil mit Berufung anfocht, die vom Obergericht des Kantons Zug mit Urteil vom 2. März 2010 abgewiesen wurde;
dass die Beschwerdeführerin dem Bundesgericht eine vom 8. April 2010 datierte Eingabe einreichte, in der sie erklärte, das Urteil des Obergerichts vom 2. März 2010 mit Einheitsbeschwerde anzufechten;
dass die Beschwerdegegnerin dem Bundesgericht am 5. Mai 2010 unaufgefordert eine Stellungnahme zur Beschwerde einreichte;
dass eine Beschwerde in Zivilsachen im vorliegenden Fall nicht zulässig ist, weil der erforderliche Streitwert von Fr. 30'000.-- (Art. 74 Abs. 1 lit. b BGG) nicht erreicht wird und sich keine Rechtsfrage von grundsätzlicher Bedeutung im Sinne von Art. 74 Abs. 2 lit. a BGG stellt;
dass die Eingabe der Beschwerdeführerin unter diesen Umständen als subsidiäre Verfassungsbeschwerde im Sinne von Art. 113 ff. BGG zu behandeln ist;
dass mit einer solchen Beschwerde ausschliesslich die Verletzung von verfassungsmässigen Rechten gerügt werden kann (Art. 116 BGG);
dass in der Beschwerdeschrift dargelegt werden muss, welche verfassungsmässigen Rechte durch das kantonale Gericht verletzt worden sind, und solche Rügen unter Bezugnahme auf die Erwägungen des angefochtenen Entscheides zu begründen sind (Art. 42 Abs. 2 und Art. 106 Abs. 2 in Verbindung mit Art. 117 BGG);
dass die Eingabe der Beschwerdeführerin vom 8. April 2010 diesen Anforderungen offensichtlich nicht genügt, weshalb auf die Beschwerde mangels hinreichender Begründung nicht einzutreten ist (Art. 108 Abs. 1 lit. b BGG);
dass die Gerichtskosten der Beschwerdeführerin aufzuerlegen sind (Art. 66 Abs. 1 BGG);
dass die Beschwerdegegnerin für die unaufgefordert eingereichte Stellungnahme vom 5. Mai 2010 keinen Anspruch auf eine Parteientschädigung hat (Art. 66 Abs. 3 in Verbindung mit Art. 68 Abs. 4 BGG);
erkennt die Präsidentin:

Auf die Beschwerde wird nicht eingetreten.
2.
Die Gerichtskosten von Fr. 300.-- werden der Beschwerdeführerin auferlegt.
3.
Der Beschwerdegegnerin wird keine Parteientschädigung zugesprochen.
4.
Dieses Urteil wird den Parteien und dem Obergericht des Kantons Zug, Zivilrechtliche Abteilung, schriftlich mitgeteilt.
