The appellant challenged a debt-enforcement seizure notice before the Federal Supreme Court. Before the court decided the merits, he withdrew the complaint by letter dated 10 April 2008. The President of the II Civil Division therefore struck the matter from the docket as withdrawn and ordered the appellant to pay a court fee of CHF 100. The decision was communicated to the parties and the cantonal supervisory authority.

Art. 73 BZP; Art. 66 Abs. 1 und 5 BGG: Withdrawal of the appeal renders the federal proceedings moot and requires discontinuance by the competent division president. Art. 73 BZP) und die Kosten dem Beschwerdeführer aufzuerlegen sind (Art. 71 BGG i.V.m. Art. 5 Abs. 2 BZP, Art. 66 Abs. 1 und 5 BGG),
erkennt der Präsident:

Das Verfahren wird als durch Rückzug der Beschwerde erledigt abgeschrieben.
2.
Die Gerichtsgebühr von Fr. 100.-- wird dem Beschwerdeführer auferlegt.
3.
Dieses Urteil wird den Parteien und dem Kantonsgericht St. Gallen, obere kantonale Aufsichtsbehörde für Schuldbetreibung und Konkurs, schriftlich mitgeteilt.
