The appellant withdrew her federal appeal against the Vaud judicial assistance office’s decision in a name-change matter. The Federal Supreme Court took note of the withdrawal and ordered the case removed from the docket. It further ordered the appellant to pay judicial costs of CHF 300.

l'ordonnance du 21 août 2008 lui impartissant un délai supplémentaire de 10 jours pour verser cette avance;
la déclaration de retrait de recours du 28 août 2008;
l'art. 32 al. 2 LTF et 73 PCF en relation avec l'art. 71 LTF;
considérant:
qu'il y a lieu de prendre acte du retrait du recours et de rayer la cause du rôle;
que les frais judiciaires incombent à la recourante (art. 66 al. 1 LTF);
par ces motifs, le Président ordonne:

La cause est rayée du rôle par suite de retrait de recours.
2.
Les frais judiciaires, arrêtés à 300 fr., sont mis à la charge de la recourante.
3.
La présente ordonnance est communiquée à la recourante et au Bureau de l'assistance judiciaires du canton de Vaud.
