Art. 66 al. 1 LTF; withdrawal of the appeal and striking the case from the docket: where the appellant withdraws the remedy, the Federal Supreme Court takes note of the withdrawal and removes the case from the roll without examining the merits. As a rule, the withdrawing appellant bears the judicial costs under Art. 66(1) LTF.
