Dezember 2008) der Beschwerdefrist von 30 Tagen (Art. 100 Abs. 1 BGG) seit der am 17. November 2008 erfolgten Eröffnung des Zirkularbeschlusses des Thurgauer Obergerichts eingereicht hat,
dass auf die verspätete und damit offensichtlich unzulässige Beschwerde in Anwendung von Art. 108 Abs. 1 lit. a BGG nicht einzutreten ist,
dass der Beschwerdeführer kostenpflichtig wird (Art. 66 Abs. 1 BGG),
dass der Abteilungspräsident den im vereinfachten Verfahren nach Art. 108 Abs. 1 BGG ergehenden Entscheid fällt,
erkennt der Präsident:

Auf die Beschwerde wird nicht eingetreten.
2.
Die Gerichtskosten von Fr. 500.-- werden dem Beschwerdeführer auferlegt.
3.
Dieses Urteil wird den Parteien und dem Obergericht des Kantons Thurgau schriftlich mitgeteilt.
