Der Präsident zieht in Erwägung:

Der Beschwerdeführer wurde mit Verfügung vom 29. November 2010 aufgefordert, dem Bundesgericht spätestens am 4. Januar 2011 einen Kostenvorschuss von Fr. 4'000.-- einzuzahlen.

Der Beschwerdeführer teilte dem Bundesgericht am 3. Januar 2011 mit, er verdiene seit dem 1. Dezember 2010 nur noch Fr. 3'669.-- und sein Existenzminimum betrage ca. Fr. 3'000.--. Er ersuche darum, ihm teilweise die unentgeltliche Rechtspflege zu gewähren und die Möglichkeit von acht Ratenzahlungen zu Fr. 500.-- einzuräumen.

Das Bundesgericht teilte ihm am 6. Januar 2011 mit, eine Zahlung des Kostenvorschusses in acht Raten komme wegen des Beschleunigungsgebotes nicht in Betracht. Als Gesuch um unentgeltliche Rechtspflege genüge die Eingabe im Übrigen den Begründungsanforderungen nicht, zumal darin nichts über die Vermögensverhältnisse des Beschwerdeführers ausgeführt werde. Das Bundesgericht halte deshalb einstweilen am Kostenvorschuss fest, setze diesen - entsprechend dem Gesuch um teilweise unentgeltliche Rechtspflege - jedoch auf die Hälfte herab (act. 11). Mit Verfügung vom selben Tag wurde dem Beschwerdeführer eine Nachfrist von zwei Monaten bis zum 7. März 2011 angesetzt, um dem Bundesgericht den reduzierten Kostenvorschuss von Fr. 2'000.-- einzuzahlen, ansonsten auf das Rechtsmittel nicht eingetreten werde (act. 12).

Innert der Nachfrist reagierte der Beschwerdeführer nicht. Weder reichte er dem Bundesgericht ergänzende Angaben zu seiner Vermögenslage nach, noch bezahlte er innert der zwei Monate den in teilweiser Gutheissung des Gesuches um unentgeltliche Rechtspflege auf Fr. 2'000.-- herabgesetzten Kostenvorschuss. Auf die Beschwerde ist androhungsgemäss im Verfahren nach Art. 108 BGG nicht einzutreten.

Die Gerichtskosten sind dem Beschwerdeführer aufzuerlegen (Art. 66 Abs. 1 BGG). Das Gesuch um unentgeltliche Rechtspflege ist in Anwendung von Art. 64 BGG abzuweisen, weil eine Beschwerde aussichtslos erscheint, wenn der Kostenvorschuss nicht bezahlt wird.

Demnach erkennt der Präsident:

Auf die Beschwerde wird nicht eingetreten.

2.
Das Gesuch um unentgeltliche Rechtspflege wird abgewiesen.

3.
Die Gerichtskosten von Fr. 500.-- werden dem Beschwerdeführer auferlegt.

4.
Dieses Urteil wird den Parteien und dem Obergericht des Kantons Aargau, Strafgericht, 3. Kammer, schriftlich mitgeteilt.
