The Federal Supreme Court dismissed, insofar as it entered into the matter, the defendant’s criminal appeal against her cantonal conviction for attempted coercion and defamation. It held that the complaint about website deletion was outside the scope of the appealed judgment, the neutrality complaint was insufficiently reasoned, and the challenge to the denial of truth proof in the defamation count showed no breach of federal law. The cantonal conviction and the suspended fine of 10 daily rates at CHF 20 each remained in place. The appellant was ordered to pay the federal court fee of CHF 1,000.

The Federal Supreme Court examines only the grievances properly directed against the contested judgment and adequately reasoned; matters not included in the appealed decision are inadmissible. Allegations of bias against judges or the clerk must be set out concretely. Where the cantonal court, relying on prior civil findings, denies the admissibility or relevance of truth proof in a defamation case, a mere dissenting view does not establish a violation of federal law. Complaints failing these requirements are dismissed insofar as they are admissible (consid. 2-3).

Das Bundesgericht zieht in Erwägung:

Das Kantonsgericht St. Gallen sprach X.________ mit Entscheid vom 5. Februar 2007 im Berufungsverfahren der versuchten Nötigung sowie der üblen Nachrede schuldig und verurteilte sie zu einer Geldstrafe von zehn Tagessätzen zu je Fr. 20.--, bedingt aufgeschoben bei einer Probezeit von zwei Jahren.
X.________ wendet sich mit Beschwerde ans Bundesgericht und beantragt sinngemäss, die Verurteilung sei aufzuheben.

Die Beschwerdeführerin erhebt drei Rügen (Nummern 2 - 4). Auf Rüge drei, die die Löschung einer Webseite betrifft, ist nicht einzutreten, weil die Löschung nicht Gegenstand des angefochtenen Entscheids ist. Auf Rüge vier ist ebenfalls nicht einzutreten, weil aus der Beschwerde nicht ersichtlich ist, dass und inwieweit die Richter sowie die Gerichtsschreiberin nicht neutral gewesen sein könnten. Insoweit genügt die Beschwerde den Begründungsanforderungen von Art. 106 Abs. 2 BGG nicht.
Rüge zwei betrifft in Bezug auf die Verurteilung wegen übler Nachrede die Zulassung der Beschwerdeführerin zum Wahrheitsbeweis. Die Vorinstanz hat sich zu dieser Frage geäussert, worauf gemäss Art. 109 Abs. 3 BGG verwiesen werden kann (vgl. angefochtenen Entscheid S. 6/7 E. 4). Sie kommt gestützt auf die Entscheide der Zivilrichter zum Schluss, dass kein Fehlverhalten der Klägerin ersichtlich sei (angefochtener Entscheid S. 7). Was an dieser Schlussfolgerung gegen das schweizerische Recht im Sinne von Art. 95 BGG verstossen könnte, ist nicht ersichtlich. Inwieweit in diesem Zusammenhang eine Verletzung des rechtlichen Gehörs vorliegen könnte, wird in der Beschwerde nicht in einer Art. 106 Abs. 2 BGG genügenden Weise dargetan. In diesem Punkt ist die Beschwerde abzuweisen, soweit darauf eingetreten werden kann.

Die Beschwerde ist im Verfahren nach Art. 109 BGG abzuweisen, soweit darauf einzutreten ist. Die Gerichtskosten sind der Beschwerdeführerin aufzuerlegen (Art. 66 Abs. 1 BGG).
Demnach erkennt das Bundesgericht:

Die Beschwerde wird abgewiesen, soweit darauf einzutreten ist.
2.
Die Gerichtsgebühr von Fr. 1'000.-- wird der Beschwerdeführerin auferlegt.
3.
Dieses Urteil wird der Beschwerdeführerin, der Staatsanwaltschaft des Kantons St. Gallen und dem Kantonsgericht St. Gallen, Strafkammer, schriftlich mitgeteilt.
