Sintesi Omnilex

The Federal Supreme Court did not enter into the appellant's complaint against the cantonal non-entry ruling because the submission failed to address the reasoning of the lower court in a legally sufficient manner and did not demonstrate any violation under Art. 95 BGG. Court costs of CHF 800 were charged to the appellant.

Massima Omnilex

Art. 108 BGG, Art. 95 BGG; requirements for a legally sufficient complaint: a federal complaint must, in a concrete and reasoned manner, challenge the decisive grounds of the cantonal decision and indicate which federal rights were violated. Mere assertions, polemics or extensive but unstructured submissions do not satisfy the duty of reasoning; where the complaint manifestly fails to do so, non-entry is permissible in summary procedure. Costs are borne by the unsuccessful party pursuant to Art. 66 Abs. 1 BGG.

Urteil vom 2. Mai 2014

Strafrechtliche Abteilung

Besetzung
Bundesrichter Mathys, Präsident,
Gerichtsschreiber C. Monn.

Verfahrensbeteiligte
X.________,
Beschwerdeführer,

gegen

Oberstaatsanwaltschaft des Kantons Zürich, Florhofgasse 2, 8090 Zürich,
Beschwerdegegnerin.

Gegenstand
Nichtanhandnahme,

Beschwerde gegen den Beschluss des Obergerichts des Kantons Zürich, III. Strafkammer, vom 20. Februar 2014 (UE130352-O/U/HEI).

Der Präsident zieht in Erwägung:

1.

3.

Dieses Urteil wird den Parteien und dem Obergericht des Kantons Zürich, III. Strafkammer, schriftlich mitgeteilt.
