X.________ filed a federal criminal appeal against a judgment of the Solothurn cantonal appellate criminal chamber. By letter of 6 May 2010, he withdrew the appeal. The President of the Criminal Division therefore struck the matter from the docket as moot and ordered that no costs be charged. The decision was notified to the parties and to the cantonal court.
