Der Präsident zieht in Erwägung:

Die Vorinstanz ist im angefochtenen Entscheid auf eine Berufung nicht eingetreten, weil die Eingabe des Beschwerdeführers die gesetzlichen Vorgaben für eine Berufungsschrift nicht erfüllt habe (angefochtener Entscheid S. 5 E. 2). Nebst materiellen Ausführungen zur Sache, die von vornherein nicht gehört werden können, weil sich die Vorinstanz damit nicht befasst hat, rügt der Beschwerdeführer eine Verletzung seines Anspruchs auf rechtliches Gehör. Dieser Anspruch hat im vorliegenden Fall indessen keine selbständige Bedeutung. Vielmehr geht es allenfalls um das Verbot des überspitzen Formalismus. Dieses Verbot wendet sich gegen prozessuale Formenstrenge, die als exzessiv erscheint, durch kein schutzwürdiges Interesse gerechtfertigt ist, zum blossen Selbstzweck wird und die Verwirklichung des materiellen Rechts in unhaltbarer Weise erschwert oder gar verhindert (BGE 130 V 177 E. 5.4.1 S. 183/184 mit Hinweisen; 121 I 177 E. 2b/aa). Dass die Vorinstanz durch das Nichteintreten auf die Berufung in überspitzten Formalismus verfallen wäre, wird in der Beschwerde nicht behauptet oder jedenfalls nicht in einer Weise geltend gemacht, die vor Art. 106 Abs. 2 BGG stand halten würde. Auf die Beschwerde ist im Verfahren nach Art. 108 BGG nicht einzutreten.

Die Gerichtskosten sind dem Beschwerdeführer aufzuerlegen (Art. 66 Abs. 1 BGG).
Demnach erkennt der Präsident:

Auf die Beschwerde wird nicht eingetreten.

2.
Die Gerichtskosten von Fr. 800.-- werden dem Beschwerdeführer auferlegt.

3.
Dieses Urteil wird den Parteien und dem Kantonsgericht Freiburg, Strafappellationshof, schriftlich mitgeteilt.
