The appellant challenged a judgment of the Zurich Cantonal Court in a criminal traffic-offence matter. The Federal Supreme Court had ordered a CHF 2,000 cost advance and set a deadline, later extended, with an express warning of non-entry. As the advance was not paid in time, the Court held that the appeal could not be entered into under Art. 108 BGG. It ordered the appellant to pay court costs of CHF 800.
Art. 108 BGG; non-payment of the ordered cost advance after warning of non-entry entails procedural non-entry into the appeal. Where the advance is not paid within the fixed or extended period, the appeal is dismissed without examination of the merits. Court costs are then generally borne by the unsuccessful appellant pursuant to Art. 66 Abs. 1 BGG.

Der Präsident zieht in Erwägung:

Dem Beschwerdeführer wurden mit Verfügungen vom 10. Mai bzw. 8. Juni 2010 eine Frist bis zum 31. Mai 2010 sowie eine Nachfrist bis zum 29. Juni 2010 angesetzt, um dem Bundesgericht einen Kostenvorschuss von Fr. 2'000.-- einzuzahlen, ansonsten auf das Rechtsmittel nicht eingetreten werde. Der Kostenvorschuss wurde innert Frist nicht geleistet. Auf die Beschwerde ist deshalb androhungsgemäss im Verfahren nach Art. 108 BGG nicht einzutreten.

Die Gerichtskosten sind dem Beschwerdeführer aufzuerlegen (Art. 66 Abs. 1 BGG).
Demnach erkennt der Präsident:

Auf die Beschwerde wird nicht eingetreten.
2.
Die Gerichtskosten von Fr. 800.-- werden dem Beschwerdeführer auferlegt.
3.
Dieses Urteil wird den Parteien und dem Obergericht des Kantons Zürich, I. Strafkammer, schriftlich mitgeteilt.
