The Federal Supreme Court did not enter into the appellants' request for recusal or their challenge to an earlier federal judgment. It held that prior participation in an earlier case is not a recusal ground on its own and that the appellants lacked standing to contest the refusal to open criminal proceedings for aiding and abetting, as they were not victims under the Victim Assistance Act and did not meet the requirements of Art. 81(1)(b) BGG. The complaint was therefore inadmissible. Costs of CHF 1,500 were imposed on the appellants jointly and severally.

If standing is lacking, the Court does not examine subsidiary arguments such as alleged denial of justice or representation issues; the complaint is not entered into under Art. 108 BGG (consid. 1-3).

Der Präsident zieht in Erwägung:

Die Mitwirkung in einem früheren Verfahren des Bundesgerichts bildet für sich allein keinen Ausstandsgrund (Art. 34 Abs. 2 BGG). Auf das Ausstandsbegehren ist nicht einzutreten.

Das Bundesgericht kann sich im vorliegenden Beschwerdeverfahren mit dem Urteil 6B_70/2007 vom 30. April 2007 nicht befassen. Antrag 2 ist unzulässig.

Die Beschwerde richtet sich dagegen, dass auf die Eröffnung eines Strafverfahrens wegen Begünstigung verzichtet wurde. Die Beschwerdeführer sind durch die angebliche Begünstigung nicht in ihrer körperlichen, sexuellen oder psychischen Integrität unmittelbar beeinträchtigt worden (Art. 2 Abs. 2 OHG). Entgegen ihrer Annahme (Beschwerde S. 4) sind sie deshalb nicht Opfer im Sinne von Art. 81 Abs. 1 lit. b Ziff. 5 BGG. Auch die anderen Legitimationsvoraussetzungen von Art. 81 Abs. 1 lit. b BGG sind nicht erfüllt. Die Beschwerdeführer sind folglich zur vorliegenden Beschwerde nicht legitimiert. Im Übrigen hat der Umstand, dass auf die Eröffnung eines Strafverfahrens verzichtet wird, mit einer formellen Rechtsverweigerung nichts zu tun. Unter den gegebenen Umständen muss sich das Bundesgericht mit dem Umstand, dass der Beschwerdeführer trotz Vollmacht zur Vertretung der Beschwerdeführerin nicht befugt ist (Art. 40 Abs. 1 BGG), nicht befassen. Auf die Beschwerde ist im Verfahren nach Art. 108 BGG nicht einzutreten.

Die Kosten des Verfahrens sind den Beschwerdeführern unter solidarischer Haftung je zur Hälfte aufzuerlegen (Art. 66 Abs. 1 BGG).
Demnach erkennt der Präsident:

Auf das Ausstandsbegehren wird nicht eingetreten.
2.
Auf die Beschwerde wird nicht eingetreten.
3.
Die Gerichtskosten von Fr. 1'500.-- werden den Beschwerdeführern unter solidarischer Haftung je zur Hälfte auferlegt.
4.
Dieses Urteil wird den Parteien und dem Verfahrensgericht in Strafsachen des Kantons Basel-Landschaft schriftlich mitgeteilt.

Given the lack of standing, the Court did not enter into those subsidiary arguments.
