The defendant filed a criminal-law appeal against the Aargau cantonal criminal court judgment concerning prohibited carriage of a radar warning device and confiscation/destruction. Before the Federal Supreme Court ruled on the merits, the appeal was withdrawn by letter of 27 January 2009. The President of the Criminal Division therefore struck the case from the docket and ordered that no costs be levied. The decision was notified to the parties and the cantonal court.
