The appellant withdrew his complaint against the Federal Administrative Court’s decision of 3 April 2014. The Federal Supreme Court therefore struck the proceedings off the list and, applying Art. 66 para. 2 BGG, waived court costs. The order was communicated to the parties, the Federal Administrative Court, and the Federal Office for Social Insurance.
Art. 71 BGG in conjunction with Art. 73 Abs. 1 BZP; withdrawal of an appeal before the Federal Supreme Court: upon valid withdrawal, the proceedings are discontinued and struck off under Art. 32 para. 2 BGG. Costs may be waived under Art. 66 Abs. 2 BGG, in particular where the circumstances so justify; no merits review remains to be undertaken once the appeal is withdrawn.

dass in Anwendung von Art. 66 Abs. 2 BGG auf die Erhebung von Gerichtskosten verzichtet wird,
Das Verfahren wird infolge Rückzugs der Beschwerde abgeschrieben.
Es werden keine Gerichtskosten erhoben.
Diese Verfügung wird den Parteien, dem Bundesverwaltungsgericht und dem Bundesamt für Sozialversicherungen schriftlich mitgeteilt.
