The appellant withdrew his appeal on 19 May 2008 against the decision of the Vaud Bureau de l'assistance judiciaire of 21 February 2008. The Federal Supreme Court, acting through a single judge, consequently struck the case from the roll and waived judicial costs. The order was communicated to the parties and to the cantonal disability insurance office.
Arts. 32 al. 2 and 71 LTF in conjunction with Art. 73 al. 1 PCF; withdrawal of the appeal: where the appellant withdraws the remedy, the Federal Supreme Court removes the case from the docket. Pursuant to Art. 66 al. 2 LTF, judicial costs may be waived, in particular in procedural termination by withdrawal (consid. on the striking-off order).

qu'en application des art. 32 al. 2 et 71 LTF, en relation avec l'art. 73 al. 1 PCF, la cause doit être rayée du rôle,
qu'en application de l'art. 66 al. 2 LTF, il convient de renoncer à la perception de frais judiciaires,
par ces motifs, le Juge unique ordonne:

La cause est radiée du rôle par suite de retrait du recours.
2.
Il n'est pas perçu de frais judiciaires.
3.
La présente ordonnance est communiquée aux parties et à l'Office de l'assurance-invalidité pour le canton de Vaud.
